Boards Darksiders What are the best upgrades and skills to get? User Info: AxSr User Info: Sheepinator. It doesn't really make much difference. By the end you'll have earned enough to buy every weapon move and maybe half the wrath powers. I hated the Crossblade so I did nothing with that. One thing though, the Achievement to max out requires you to buy Level 1 of each wrath power and every level of each weapon move, so if you spend too much on wrath powers you may not have enough to max out the weapons.

However you can grind as needed. That coffee. Coffee's for closers only. User Info: chillORdie. Should I save up the 5, to get the regeneration of rage or wrath?

Unyielding Strength Collect 30 Fragments of Adamantine. Unbreakable Will Collect 30 Pieces of Adamantine. Purity of Power Collect 3 Chunks of Adamantine. These are all marked on the story walkthrough pages at the time you can expect to unlock them. The good news is that you can receive additional orbs randomly, from enemies or environmental items. This means that you will likely unlock the achievements for collecting Slivers, Fragments and Pieces before they are listed in the story walkthrough pages.

The Xbox achievement tracker works for this game so you can use that to keep and eye on your progress, for these and all other achievements.

Enhancements are weapons attachments that increase two stats per Enhancement - one applies to the weapon it is attached to and the other is a passive power that will always be active when it is attached to any weapon. Enhancements must be found and their locations are pointed out in the walkthrough. This guide will encourage the Enhancements that effect your special Havoc Form.

Look through the other Enhancements as they may suit you better. Upgrading Enhancements is more complicated than weapons. Again, you must gather the resources to do so.

For Enhancements, these take the form of Angelic and Demonic Artifacts. Note that there is an achievement for fully upgrading five Enhancements. This achievement is marked as missable as there is a finite number of Artifacts per playthrough in the base game. If you partially upgrade every Enhancement you find, you may run out of Artifacts. Decide which Enhancements you want to use and only upgrade them. The Crucible offers infinite Artifacts, so technically the achievement is no longer missable.

Remember that Enhancements must be attached to the weapons you carry. Towards the end of the game you will have six weapons available, so can only have a maximum of six Enhancements equipped.

An Enhancement starts out as Unfocused, eg. Unfocused Juggernaut but will still have 2 boosts. That's about the only moves I use.

As for wrath abilities: I have Blade Geyser at level 2, but only made it level 2 so I could get the '10 deaths' achievement. I also have Affliction at level 2, which I only really use when I get frustrated against an opponent. Cryiox View Profile View Posts. I'd say the best thing early game is buying the either the Scythe or Harvester. It's really useful for crowd control.

As mentioned above unless you want to get the achievement of leveling up all weapons to max and getting all skills buying extra ones will often than not get you to use the wrong skill at the wrong time, Harpoon Tackle is not only good for early game but for late game as well it's my goto skill.

Keep in mind that various play styles are possible and eventually you pick up whichever you enjoy best. Once you get the Scythe or the Harvester there's a skill that you can use by clicking the Dash button and the Scythe weapon, that skill is probably one of the most powerful if not the most powerful Scythe ability imo.

Once you get the gauntlets there's the skill that you use the same way as mentioned above which is very powerful. For me those are the skills i use the most, never really use the wrath abilities. Per page: 15 30
